Today I managed to make the full tour of Hong Kong Island.

I started off in Chai Wan, where Kei lives and ate lunch in her parents’ restaurant. It was in a very old building, one of the few I have seen, the old building next to it will be taken down next year to be made into a skyscraper, so maybe someday this  one too will disappear. The meal was delicious and Kei’s Father even made extra vegetables for me and gave me a chicken wing too. It was fun to see how everyone in Chai Wan seemed to know Kei and they all seemed glad to meet Kei’s friend (me) too. It felt a bit like she was a local celebrity.
