Big Buddha

Today I finally got to see something that I had been looking forward to for months: The world’s biggest bronze Buddha: Tian Tan Buddha by the Po Lin Monastery.

I took the metro to Lantau Island and then the cable car for half an hour to get around a big mountain in order to see the Buddha. From the cable car I could see almost everything on Lantau, even Hong Kong airport (photo n. 2).
